We are four weeks into the NFL season and there are just two teams without a loss and two teams without a win.
How's that for parity?
The San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles are both 4-0. The Chicago Bears and Carolina Panthers are both 0-4.
When will each team get its first loss or its first win?
The 49ers face a big test on Sunday Night Football in NFL Week 5, as they host the 3-1 Dallas Cowboys, but the schedule doesn't look too daunting after that with games against the Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Bengals and Jacksonville Jaguars on the horizon.
The Eagles face the 2-2 Los Angeles Rams on the NFL Week 5 schedule, before facing the New York Jets and then having a big showdown with the Miami Dolphins.
Interestingly, the Eagles host the 49ers in Week 13.
NFL Week 5 predictions:ESPN matchup predictor's picks, win probabilities for games
As for the Bears, they are at the 2-2 Washington Commanders this week, with the Vikings, Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers after that.
The Panthers are at the 3-1 Detroit Lions on Sunday, with the Dolphins in Week 6 and the Houston Texans in Week 8 after a bye in Week 7.
Further out, Carolina plays at Chicago in Week 10.
Check out how we rank the 32 teams in the NFL heading into Week 5, from the lowest (Bears) to the highest (49ers), with previous ranking in parenthesis.
NFL Week 5 picks: Bears at Commanders | Jaguars at Bills | Texans at Falcons | Panthers at Lions | Titans at Colts | Giants at Dolphins | Saints at Patriots | Ravens at Steelers | Bengals at Cardinals | Eagles at Rams | Jets at Broncos | Chiefs at Vikings | Cowboys at 49ers | Packers at Raiders
32. Chicago Bears (31)
Lost to Broncos, 31-28, to fall to 0-4. Is this the worst team in the NFL? Only one team has given up more points, but that team beat them in Week 4.
31. Carolina Panthers (30)
Lost to Vikings, 21-13, to fall to 0-4. Rookie QB Bryce Young has shown some positive signs this season, but the Panthers still don't have a win.
30. Denver Broncos (32)
Beat Bears, 31-28, to improve to 1-3. A win is a win, right? Denver rallied to beat the Bears, and that moves them out of the basement in these power rankings.
29. New York Jets (28)
Lost to Chiefs, 23-20, to fall to 1-3. Zach Wilson took a step forward, even if the Jets lost to the Chiefs. New York has a very winnable game against the Broncos this week.
NFL Week 5 odds:Point spreads, moneylines, over/unders for betting on games
28. Las Vegas Raiders (27)
Lost to Chargers, 24-17, to fall to 1-3. It could be a very long season in Las Vegas. It's already been a very long four weeks. This team's only win was a 17-16 Week 1 win over Denver.
27. Arizona Cardinals (25)
Lost to 49ers, 35-16, to fall to 1-3. The Cardinals kept it close for a lot of this game, but the 49ers were just too much. Still, this team plays hard. You can't look past them.
26. New England Patriots (20)
Lost to Cowboys, 38-3, to fall to 1-3. This offense has managed just 55 points in four games. That just won't cut it.
25. New York Giants (23)
Lost to Seahawks, 24-3, to fall to 1-3. The scheduled doesn't get any easier for New York. It has the Dolphins and Bills in the next two weeks.
24. Cincinnati Bengals (11)
Lost to Titans, 27-3, to fall to 1-3. Speaking of inept offenses, the Bengals have 49 points in four games. Isn't Joe Burrow still their QB? What happened in Cincinnati?
23. Minnesota Vikings (21)
Beat Panthers, 21-13 to improve to 1-3. A win is a win, but we're moving this team down after its win because the Vikings are still a big disappointment so far this season.
NFL Week 5 picks, predictions:Cowboys-49ers, Eagles-Rams, Chiefs-Vikings games to watch
22. Indianapolis Colts (24)
Lost to Rams in overtime, 29-23, to fall to 2-2. Yes, the Colts lost, but it was in overtime and they are still 2-2 on the season, something we did not see coming.
21. Atlanta Falcons (17)
Lost to Jaguars, 23-7, to fall to 2-2. Have teams figured out the Falcons? Atlanta has scored just 13 points in the last two weeks, both losses.
20. New Orleans Saints (16)
Lost to Buccaneers, 26-9, to fall to 2-2. New Orleans needs more from Derek Carr and the offense. They could get it with the Patriots, Texans, Jaguars, Colts and Bears up next.
NFL Week 5 schedule:Television channels, how to watch, how to stream games
19. Cleveland Browns (12)
Lost to Ravens, 28-3, to fall to 2-2. We thought we had the Browns ranked too low last week. Now we're wondering if we have them too high. The bye couldn't come at a better time for Cleveland.
18. Pittsburgh Steelers (10)
Lost to Texans, 30-6, to fall to 2-2. One thing has become clear about the Steelers this season. They will only go as far as their defense can take them, because they can't expect much from the offense.
17. Houston Texans (29)
Beat Steelers, 30-6, to improve to 2-2. A 12-spot jump for Houston? C.J. Stroud continues to impress. This team could end up being one of the big surprises in 2023.
16. Tennessee Titans (26)
Beat Bengals, 27-3, to improve to 2-2. This team is a completely different team at home (2-0) compared to the road (0-2). It faces a test at the Colts in NFL Week 5.
15. Los Angeles Rams (22)
Beat Colts in overtime, 29-23, to improve to 2-2. Rookie WR sensation Puka Nacua has 501 yards receiving and 39 catches after four games. Not too shabby.
NFL Week 5 announcers:Television broadcasters, announcing crews for Week 5 NFL schedule
14. Green Bay Packers (14)
Lost to Lions, 34-20, to fall to 2-2. Jordan Love has shown some positive signs for the Packers (8 TDs to 3 INTs), but the 56.1% completion percentage needs to go up.
13. Jacksonville Jaguars (19)
Beat Falcons, 23-7, to improve to 2-2. The Jaguars looked good in their first London game, but staying in England this week and facing the Bills there will be a much tougher challenge.
12. Washington Commanders (18)
Lost to Eagles in overtime, 34-31, to fall to 2-2. A six-point jump for the Commanders after a loss? Yes, when that loss is to one of the NFL's two remaining undefeated teams in overtime.
11. Los Angeles Chargers (12)
Beat Raiders, 24-17, to improve to 2-2. We thought this team was much better than its 0-2 start. It has a bye this week before facing the Cowboys and Chiefs in back-to-back games.
10. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (15)
Beat Saints, 26-9, to improve to 3-1. We thought the Buccaneers would be one of the worst teams in the NFL this season. We thought wrong. This team could win the NFC South.
9. Detroit Lions (9)
Beat Packers, 34-20, to improve to 3-1. The Lions appear to be the class of the NFC North. That's something that hasn't been said much through the years.
8. Seattle Seahawks (8)
Beat Giants, 24-3, to improve to 3-1. Can this team challenge the 49ers for the NFC West crown?
7. Baltimore Ravens (7)
Beat Browns, 28-3, to improve to 3-1. The Lamar Jackson to Mark Andrews connection is very hard to stop, or even contain.
6. Dallas Cowboys (6)
Beat Patriots, 38-3, to improve to 3-1. How did this team lose to the Cardinals? It has the game of the week against the 49ers on Sunday Night Football in Week 5.
5. Miami Dolphins (2)
Lost to Bills, 48-20, to fall to 3-1. We debated dropping the Dolphins even more, but their loss did come against a very good Bills team, although it wasn't even close.
4. Buffalo Bills (5)
Beat Dolphins, 48-20, to improve to 3-1. How did this team lose to the Jets in Week 1? Maybe that was what it needed to happen. It's looked really good since then.
3. Kansas City Chiefs (4)
Beat Jets, 23-20, to improve to 3-1. A win is a win, although its win over the Jets was not pretty. This team has some very interesting games in the coming weeks, beginning with the Vikings this week.
2. Philadelphia Eagles (3)
Beat Commanders in overtime, 34-31, to improve to 4-0. The Eagles needed a 54-yard field goal from Jake Elliott to beat the Commanders. But they are 4-0.
1. San Francisco 49ers (1)
Beat Cardinals, 35-16, to improve to 4-0. Christian McCaffrey has 80 carries for 459 yards and six touchdowns this season. He also has 18 catches for 141 yards and another score.
